All parents are ultimately responsible for ensuring the daycare receives full payment for their child’s, payments are due every Monday, and must be in cash or zelleNote: Days that the parents decide don’t send the kids for any reason has to pay it anyway, because the daycare is available to receive them. Each child has their itinerary and based on that we make ours, according to the regulations of the health department, so if the parent decides not to send the child for any reason one day (s), that day is not left over, It will not be reimbursed, nor changed for another day, because it was the parent's decision and the daycare was available to receive them and included in the schedule for that day even if they did not attend, if on the contrary the daycare decided to close for reasons other than a holiday the money will be reimbursed. The parent cannot make changes to the hours without prior agreement with the provider. In case parents decide to take vacations with the kids if they want keep their spaces in the daycare , must pay regular fees or deal with the provider, otherwise the daycare does not guarantee their places.Sign In / Sign OutState law requires that a parent/guardian sign each child in and out of the daycare on the days of care. It is the parent/guardian’s responsibility to ensure that any authorized person dropping off or picking up their child is adhering to this policy. No child will leave CDC with someone other than the parent or guardian, unless there is written authorization, or that person’s name is on the Emergency Information form under “Authorization for Pick-up.” Or a phone call Note : we don’t receive kids after 9:00 AM Unless they have an special situation or appointment.Health and Safety ProceduresSick Policy The primary aim of CDC is to protect your child to the greatest degree possible. Health checks are done every day as each child enters the center. The check consists of observing the child’s general appearance, feeling body temperature, and observing the skin for rashes or obvious signs of illness. After this check, CDC staff may determine not to accept a child for that day. If a child should seem extremely fatigued or ill during the day, CDC will notify the parent to pick up the child. We are not equipped to care for sick children. If this is your child’s first group experience, it is quite possible that he or she will have more illnesses than before. We are counting on the cooperation of parents in keeping children home who are ill, or who seem unusually fatigued, or show symptoms of possible illness. When a child becomes ill with a communicable disease or anything the the daycare for Disease Control deems contagious, the parent should notify immediately so that the daycare can notify other parents of their child’s exposure. In many circumstances, illnesses are most contagious prior to the child exhibiting any signs. As such, CDC asks that parents notify the center regardless of when the child first became ill. If any parent or close family(that live at the same home) has Covid-19, the child will need stay at home.Conditions for Exclusion from CDCThe Provider will notify families of children exposed to contagious illness at CDC. Parents are required to notify CDC within 24 hours of any serious illness the family, including diagnosis and cause of illness. This is required even if the child is kept at home or if it is a sibling or parent who is ill. Once a child is treated and is not contagious, assuming the child is feeling fit to participate in the daily activities, the child may return to care with the doctor written permission.Exclusion for BehaviorsAlso the kids with misconduct, aggressiveness and don’t follow rules where talking with the parents it can not be solve, the daycare can do exclusion of those kids because can endanger the safety of other kids.Medication PolicyCDC staff will not administer any medication (prescription or non-prescription), a parent or guardian must have administered the medication to the child at home.Medical EmergenciesIn the event of an accident or medical emergency requiring immediate treatment, a staff member will perform first aid and/or CPR while another staff member calls 911 immediately. A third staff member will then contact the parents and the child’s physician. In an urgent situation, CDC top priority is to ensure that the child’s immediate medical needs are treated.Immunization RecordsAs part of our State licensing requirements, CDC is required to keep current immunization records. Parents must provide a written notice of any temporary delays in receiving immunizations. RDC understands that some families have religious or personal beliefs that prevent them from giving their child the recommended immunizations. While we respect the beliefs of those families who choose not to immunize their children, CDC must take every precaution to protect the health and safety of all enrolled children. For this reason, CDC will require a signed Withdrawal policiesIn event that you need to withdraw your child from the daycare for any reason, you need give to the daycare a 2 weeks’ written notice.General InformationNutrition CDC provides breakfast, morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack.Birthday SnacksYou may bring a special birthday snack to share with the other children in celebration of your child’s birthday. Our trained staff is available to assist children and parents with the potty training process; however, in order to be effective, parents must be committed to being consistent with toilet training at home and at school.
